Reasons to Visit

If you're unfamiliar with the area, there's some great things to do while you're over this way. Below are a list of some of the things we love:

Canal Walks

The Navigation Inn is positioned between Lapworth and Rowington, close to where the Stratford Canal meets the Grand Union Canal. For those canal boaters amongst you, we are located on the Grand Union canal at bridge 65, just above the Kingswood Junction.

Described by the Telegraph Newspaper as one of the best walks in Britain, the Lapworth Circular and Lapworth Loop have a number of variations taking in the sights of beautiful countryside, architecture and rural charm, passing two national trust properties.

A range of other walks in the area can be found on the HikIdea website here

National Trust Properties

There are two impressive National Trust Properties right on our doorstep and well worth the visit if you have the opportunity. Baddesley Clinton is a picturesque medieval moated manor house and garden; whilst Packwood House is a much restored Tudor house with park, garden and notable topiary.

The NEC

Ideally located if you're visiting for a trade show or concert, we are only 20 mins drive away, off both the M42 and M40 junctions. Ideal for a pre- or post-show stop off for somewhere to eat near the NEC.
